Please help us win a makeover from Walmart this holiday season! The Sandalwood Community Food Pantry on Hilton Head Island, SC has been selected as a finalist to compete with more than 150 food pantries across the nation to win a share of $1.5 million in funding through Walmart’s “Food Pantry Holiday Makeover” Campaign. The 75 food pantries with the most votes from the public at the end of the voting period will receive a $20,000 grant. Voting begins Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 12:01 am ET and ends Friday, Dec. 12 at 11:59 pm ET.
To participate in the voting process, voters must have Internet access, a valid Facebook account, and be 13 years or older.
Participants can vote once online per twenty-four (24) hours; voting resets twenty-four hours (24) from the time the participant last voted. Note that “liking” the Walmart Facebook page or clicking the “Like” button DOES NOT count as a vote.
